Flat Pennies Ice Cream
The saga of Flat Pennies Ice Cream began in March of 2001, upon the purchase of a SooLine Caboose. The Caboose was moved to Colfax, Wisconsin, and the idea of serving soft serve ice cream was explored. Finally, an old restaurant in Bay City, Wisconsin was purchased, and the true Flat Pennies Ice Cream was in business. In 2006 the caboose was moved to the site of Flat Pennies. Flat Pennies features a pet rest stop and picnic area. Their menu features hot dogs, beef sandwiches, fresh roasted coffee, and of course, delicious ICE CREAM.
